Diving straight into excitement on your second day, you will enjoy a magical time with your family in Universal Studios Japan! As one of the only four Universal Studios theme parks in the world, this wonderland has been attracting millions of visitors annually since its establishment nearly two decades ago. It is your turn to discover the many attractions that have mesmerized the world!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been a very popular attraction ever since its addition to the park. There are also several venues unique to Japan, including the manga-themed shows that immerse you in 4-D wonder. Experience a different dimension of your favorite fictional Japanese characters! Gripping realism and superb levels of detail make USJ the perfect spot for family fun.

The family adventure continues in the port city of Kobe. Leaving Osaka in the morning, you will first visit Meriken Park, home to the iconic architecture of the city. The first landmark is a red steel construction that has become the symbol of Kobe. The other one is a building with a white steel-frame roof reminiscent of sails. Enjoy the view of the waterfront from atop a 100-meter observation deck, and explore an exhibit of ships and other modern vehicles in two conjoined museums.

After lunch in the classy entertainment district of Kobe Harborland, you will visit the anticipated highlight of the day. Kobe Animal Kingdom houses many different fauna and flora, which every nature-loving member of the family will appreciate. Kids are especially fond of the petting zoo, where they can interact with cute domestic animals. There is an impressive variety of exotic birds and other wildlife contained within the compound, both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the company of kangaroos, penguins, and alpacas!

The ninja are the fabled stealthy assassins of Japan, known in legends for their great prowess during the Sengoku period. As one of the two great ninja families, the Iga clan has an enduring legacy that you can now experience as you visit their home province. Learn about the tricks and arts of ninjutsu as you explore an authentic ninja house. The museum provides an interesting insight into the underappreciated and lesser known aspects of ninja life. The scheduled ninja show demonstrates an exciting battle using ninja weapons.

After lunch, you will visit the nearby castle, dubbed the “White Phoenix Castle” due to its beauty. It is significant in that unlike other modern reconstructions of classic Japanese castles, this one does not use reinforced concrete, but was rather rebuilt with wood, giving it an authentic feel. At the end of this exciting day of Japanese history and art, you will be transferred to your hotel near Kansai International Airport, where you will celebrate your last night in Japan.
